I am an internist and nephrologist. My special expertise lies in the early detection, diagnosis, prevention, and guideline-oriented treatment of kidney and hypertension diseases. I also focus on the determination of causes and treatment of hypertension and its consequences. I hold the relevant specialist qualifications from the German Hypertension League (Hypertensiologist-DHL).

The conditions I treat include:

Acute and chronic inflammatory kidney diseases (various forms of glomerulonephritis)
High blood pressure (arterial hypertension) and its complications
Diagnosis of secondary hypertension (high blood pressure as a result of kidney, vascular, and hormonal diseases or disorders)
Duplex sonography of the renal arteries to suspect or rule out renal artery stenosis (narrowing of the renal arteries)

Kidney stone disease (nephrolithiasis)
Kidney damage as a result of various systemic diseases and medications

Primary care

As an internist, I provide comprehensive and individualized primary care for all health concerns within the scope of primary care. I devote plenty of time to my patients during consultations. I also make home visits – even on weekends.

Various instrumental and laboratory tests are performed in my practice. These include:

  • Comprehensive ultrasound diagnostics using the latest technology
  • ECG
  • Stress ECG
  • Holder-length blood pressure monitoring
  • Pulmonary function tests

All types of laboratory tests (blood, urine, stool) can be performed in your home if necessary.

  • Rapid D-dimer test (thrombosis marker)
  • Rapid streptococcal test (immunological test for the detection of group A streptococci in throat swabs)

Invoice

The fee for private medical treatment is determined based on the current version of the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ). You will receive two copies of the invoice, which you must submit to your health insurance company for reimbursement.

For self-payers, billing is also based on the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ).

Reimbursement by statutory health insurance is not possible.
